the thought hit me just on my last run when i healed a dps and my non crit physick hit for like 900 at ilevel 81 and I was like daaaaayum man
just hungry mindless rambles before i eat lol
Scholar is fun but I’m gonna get white mage up as well because from what everyone has told me and well just comparing the two’s ability arsenals white mage is the more baby mode healer.
Scholar is like them games where you have HP and then you have your shield. Keep that shield up and then put up more buffs ye (Galvanise, Sacred Soil, Eye for an Eye and maybe SS if you have it) but when the shield goes down and you’re going into HP you’re kinda going into more and more dangerous territory the lower that HP goes.
It’s because of this that you want one of each of these healers instead of 2 of either in your eight man. Scholars can quickly heal DPS scratches whilst keeping shields up, white mages are good for the beefy heals and just topping up someone no matter how much HP they have left.
captainkamina actually came up with a great way of describing it. Scholar is fantastic when you always can remember what’s coming and can prepare and stuff, but white mage you can go in and recover from about anything because of their ability to quickly refill HP. So I think I’m gonna get WHM up just for them days I just wanna go in and wing it more than prepare.
Okay but Never Gonna Give You Up (better known as Rickroll) is actually a really really horrible song for many reasons, which I will better explain under the cut.
Brace yourselves, this is pretty long.
